On October 24 and 25, at Pensacola’s downtown Saenger Theatre, local performers and creatives will have the opportunity to show their skills and see if they have what it takes to be a part of the new BlabTV.
As part of this exciting, original programming initiative, BlabTV will be looking for on-camera and production talent by way of a reality-inspired Talent Search. The local television network is hoping to meet and discover untapped talent in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties to assist with, among other things, a morning show, a late-night show, and a sports program.
In addition to the new programming, the Talent Search will be filmed to develop a new original program to be aired on BlabTV and on-demand at http://www.BlabTV.com.
Claire Campbell, executive producer for the Talent Search, said that this was part of a new outreach program by BlabTV to develop new content as well as build a network of people to assist with hosting and producing new shows.
“Pensacola has a rich history of turning out fantastic creative talent in the television world. From actress, Katy Mixon to TV producer Dr. Bill Kurtis, and Internet sensation, Jarvis Derrell, Pensacola has always been an incubator for unprecedented talent,” said Campbell, who recently relocated to Pensacola after working on several reality shows in NYC.
BlabTV wants to promote and continue that tradition by providing a new platform for locals to share their passion and skills with the judges, and hopefully, the community through BlabTV.”
BlabTV is looking to fill 10 different categories for on-camera talent and production talent.
On-camera talents include:
Hosts, anchors, and commentators
Production Talent include:
