Breaking: HCA Florida West CEO leaving

Breaking News

Dear HCA Florida West Hospital Medical Staff,

As we near the beginning of our fourth year together HCA Florida West Hospital, I am writing you to share that a change is coming.
I have been given the opportunity to take on a new role as the Chief Executive Officer of HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville.
As a result, my last day at HCA Florida West Hospital will be April 13, 2025.

As we prepare for this transition, it’s important to me that you know my deep appreciation for each of you. It has been an absolute honor to work with such a talented
and dedicated team.  We accomplished incredible milestones together over the past  few years, including launching comprehensive stroke and TAVR programs,
expanding GME, and advancing the hospital’s quality and patient experience agendas.

In addition, we operationalized several capital investments including a six-story parking garage, two new Operating Rooms, land purchases on Johnson Road,
expanding HCA Florida Perdido Bay Emergency, adding a helicopter pad at HCA Florida Perdido Bay Emergency, and opening HCA Florida Pea Ridge Emergency
to help better serve the needs of our patients and community.

As you know, we are also in the process of leaving a profound impact for the future of our community with $130 million investment in multiple hospital services including
the Emergency Department, Operating Room, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery, Rehabilitation Center, and 6-South nursing unit. Our community continues to grow and in
response to that growth, so does our hospital.

However, it is not the brick and mortar that makes this hospital special, it’s you and how we treat one another.  I am inspired by how we have pulled together and lifted
one another enhancing our sense of culture and pride at HCA Florida West Hospital.  I’m proud of not only what we accomplished together but also how we pulled together
to carry out the mission daily.  The engagement across our hospital teams is incredible.

While I look forward to my new role, I will sincerely miss working with all of you. I encourage you to keep striving for excellence while carrying out our mission each and
every day. Our cultural foundation is strong, and I am confident that with your exceptional skills and dedication, you will not only maintain but also surpass the standards
we have set, continuing to elevate our hospital and the care we provide.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication, support, and the countless memories we have shared. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and excited to
witness the great achievements yet to come at HCA Florida West Hospital.

Sincerely,
Gabe

Gabe Bullaro
Chief Executive Officer
