Breaking: IHMC selects architect

The Institute for Human and Machine Cognition has selected its architect for its $20-million Healthspan, Resilience and Performance Research Complex to be built on Garden Street across from St. Michael’s Cemetery.

The winning team is a group led locally by DAG Architects, whose principal is Dave Luttrell, in partnership with Brent Amos from Cooper Carry, headquartered in Atlanta.DAG is a Northwest Florida firm. Cooper Carry is a national firm with substantial experience in biomedical facilities.

The next step will be soliciting a construction management firm to join the team.
