Inweekly reporter Jeremy Morrison attended the first stop on Mayor Ashton Hayward’s Flood Recovery Tour. At an informal press conference on Piedmont Road, Mayor Hayward said the Bayview Resource Center will be demolished. We will a full report on the Piedmont tour stop tomorrow morning.
According to an earlier press release from the city, the Vickery Center, the other community center damage in the April 2014 flooding, will be reopened this fall.
