A death occurred at the Escambia County Main Jail last night. The public information office is reporting the death of white male prisoner, age 48, happened at 10:45 p.m. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. Name of the victim and cause of death will be released later.
Inweekly’s sources have told the newspaper that it was an apparent suicide but we will have to wait for the medical examiner’s report to get confirmation.
