Breaking news: Santa Rosa to delay school opening

Santa Rosa County School Superintendent Tim Wyrosdick has notified teachers and principals that he will delay the start of the school year and will provide a remote-learning option. He will give the details at a press conference at 1 p.m.


WEAR reports Superintendent Malcolm Thomas will delay the opening of school two weeks. The first day for students will be Monday, August 24. The first day for teachers will be Monday, August 17.
