Yesterday afternoon, Jonathan Fink, the vice president for Bargaining and Chief Negotiator for the University of West Florida faculty, notified his colleagues that the union had voted unanimously, 82-0, to ratify the 2014-2017 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

“We believe this contract has many benefits for faculty, but also please know that there is still much to address,” wrote Fink in an email. “Faculty have experienced a 16% loss in purchasing power over the last 8 years, and your bargaining team is looking forward to being back at the table this spring.”
