Brevard County goes for eco-tourism

With NASA shutting down the space shuttle program, Brevard County has come up with a new marketing program to attract tourists –eco-tourism. The Orlando Sentinel reports that it could play a role in shoring up Brevard County’s economy as thousands of better-paying jobs and a reliable stream of tourism vanished with last month’s retirement of the space-shuttle program.
