Bush bails out banks

The price tag is $700 billion, about $2,000 for every person in this country. The Federal Reserve announced late yesterday that it has granted a request by Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, to become bank holding companies. They will not be able to act more like commercial banks.

It appears all the barriers are dropping between financial institutions. Is this good?
