Buzz: Chamber lawsuit dismissed

This morning, Judge Boles dismissed the lawsuits by the former CFO of the Greater Pensacola Chamber, Brian McBroom, against the chamber and its former CEO Jim Hizer. The judge did give the plaintiff’s attorneys an opportunity to refile their suits on breach of contract and defamation. However, the attorneys will need to give specific reasons for why Hizer should be named individually in the suit.
