There was huge drug bust yesterday involving two city Public Works employees, who were apparently selling drugs from their city vehicles. Eight people have been indicted on federal drug charges– six of which have been arrested.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by the state attorney’s office, Pensacola Police Department, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. attorney’s office and other agencies. We are trying to confirm this tip, but have gotten any callbacks from the agencies involved.
Law enforcement has confirmed to city workers were among those arrested.
