Buzz: Escambia County has first positive COVID-19 case

Inweekly has heard from two separate sources that Escambia County has its first novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). According to sources, the test was conducted on Wednesday, March 11 at a local clinic. The results came back positive this morning.

This information holds out to be accurate. Escambia County will activate the Emergency Operations Center this afternoon. Stay tuned.
