Rep. Jeff Miller may have competition to be President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has told the media that she is under consideration for the position.
Her son-in-law, Sgt. Dakota Meyer, posted on his Facebook on Sunday:
Just because the GOP won, doesn’t mean the battle is over. More than ever we have to push our leaders to remember the promises our nation makes to veterans.
And I’ve never met anyone who supports our troops and loves our country more than my mother-in-law, Sarah Palin.
Yesterday Palin shared the post on her Facebook and added:
We should be grateful we’ll soon have a commander-in-chief who will champion our vets and honor the promises our nation made; a pro-private sector individual who surely understands bigger government is NOT the answer; a President who promised to drain the swamp and clean up all government corruption… all things our vets and active duty troops deserve
Palin campaigned for Trump and was the running mate of Sen. John McCain in 2008.
Miller will not be selected as VA Secretary. I spoke with someone yesterday from his campaign and he said main reason was the scandals that happened under his watch, same reason as to why Gaetz didn’t keep most of Miller’s staff. He also endorsed Jeb Bush and Marco Rubio and then settled for Trump when he won the nomination.
It has to Sarah or that girl on the Verizon commercials, both wear their shirts so tight that you can easily see their qualifications.
Dumb and wayyyyyy dumber…
