Buzz: Papantonio says Progressives aren’t warming up to Crist

In a telephone interview today, Pensacola attorney and political pundit Mike Papantonio said Charlie Crist doesn’t appear to be gaining much traction among Progressives around the state of Florida.

Earlier today, Peter Schorsch of SaintPetersBlog.com reported that the most recent Kitchens Group survey showed Crist, who reportedly will be seeking the Democratic nomination in 2014 to run against Florida Gov. Rick Scott, beating Scott by 64-35 percent when those surveyed had to choose between the two politicians and couldn’t reply “undecided.” (BTW: U.S. Senator Bill Nelson had the same margin against the GOP governor.)

“What I am hearing doesn’t mesh with those numbers,” said Papantonio. “From my observations, Progressives aren’t warming up to Crist.”
