Buzz: Push for Catholic vs. West Florida High game to be played at maritime stadium

Whisper1x300
West Florida and Catholic will face off this Friday to see which team advances in the Florida 5A football playoffs. The Catholic Crusaders won their earlier match, 31-13, before a crowd of over 6,000 fans at West Florida High’s Marlon L. Bullock Field, on Woodham Middle School campus.

The rematch will be at Catholic High, which can seat around 3,000. There is a group trying to get the game transferred to the Maritime Park stadium. I’m not sure that there is enough time to pull this off or that Catholic High will approve the change of venue, but what a great place to play such a huge game.
