Orlando-area entrepreneur and Democratic candidate for governor Chris King will continue his statewide “Keeping the Promise†Tour on healthcare today. During the two-week tour, King is laying out the stakes of this election and emphasizing the importance of fair healthcare policies.
King’s healthcare policy, “Florida’s Promise,†calls for expanding Medicaid, strengthening Florida’s insurance exchanges and protecting against the Trump administration’s attempts to sabotage them, promoting access to care for children, and caring for Floridians struggling with opioid addiction.
At 7 p.m. Monday, July 23, King will attend a meet and greet with Santa Rosa County Democrats at Santa Rosa County Democratic Headquarters, 4966 Henry St., Milton.
