Council holding LOST budget workshop today

The Pensacola City Council will hold a workshop on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m. in the Hagler-Mason Conference Room located on the second floor of City Hall, 222 W. Main St. The purpose of this workshop is to review and discuss the FY 2023 Proposed Budget – Local Option Sales Tax (LOST).

Members of the public may attend the meeting in person. City Council encourages those not fully vaccinated to wear face coverings that cover their nose and mouth.

To provide input:
Citizens may submit an online form beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25 until that agenda item has been heard to indicate they wish to speak to a specific item on the agenda and include a phone number. (Link will go live at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25.)

Staff will call the person at the appropriate time so the citizen can directly address the City Council using a telephone held up to a microphone.

Any form received after an agenda item has been heard will not be considered.
