CRA does pay its expenses

During the Community Maritime Park debate, Stop Our City supporters argued that the rest of the city had to pay for services in the CRA district.

Today the Pensacola City Council/CRA Board will vote on increasing what it pays for police protection and other services. Council members will decide whether to increase the amount paid to police from 100,000 to 150,000 dollars. Also, they may spend an extra 45,000 dollars on landscaping around the district.

Both issues will be voted on at the council’s committee meetings today 3:15 at City Hall.
