Crist sets two-week deadline on review

At yesterdays’ Florida Cabinet meeting, Gov. Charlie Crist gave Don Saxon, the head of the Office of Financial Regulation, two weeks to come up with a plan to toughen licensing standards for mortgage brokers. He has also ordered his own inspector general to investigate the OFR — the agency that licenses mortgage brokers.
