State Rep. Richard Corcoran (R-Pasco County) will be guest at 5:33 pm today on News Talk 1370’s “Pensacola Speaks.” Corcoran is the incoming Speaker of the Florida House. This past session he chaired the powerful Appropriations Committee.
Corcoran has been a critic of Enterprise Florida and its incentives programs. He has said that he will lead the charge to strip taxpayer funding from the agency because he believes it has consistently failed the state.
In the first half hour, I will discuss with Dr. Ed Meadows, Pensacola State College president, PSC becoming the first in this region to earn accreditation from two national agencies for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-to-BSN) program.
