County has reduced its request on landfill contract to 10 years with CPI adjustments annually. ECUA is still holding out. Not sure whether stumbling block is Exec. Director Steve Sorrell or Board member Larry Walker.
By my count, county proposal would pass on the ECUA board, 4 to 1, with Walker in the minority. Although McCrovey vote is wobbling. Benson, Perkins and Fink appear to be solid yes’s.
