The Federal Trade Commission has calculated the contributions to the presidential candidates for the 325xx zip codes up through 6/30/07. John Edwards is the top fundraiser – receiving 34% of all funds contributed in the region. Democrats have out contributed Republicans, $45,194 to $41,357. The one candidate that most Republicans nationally are conceding that his campaign is floundering – John McCain – is the second best GOP fundraiser in the area….which tells you have off track the area is.
