Escambia: Bottom drops out of COVID testing

According to the Florida Department of Health, Escambia only has 23 new local cases of COVID-19 based on 223 test results entered in the system for Sunday, Aug. 30.

The 23 positives was the lowest since June 21, but you have to go back to May 12 to find fewer test results entered on a single day. Yesterday’s positivity was 9.35%.

FDOH only entered 77 test results for Santa Rosa County – 15 were positive, making its positivity rate 19.48%.
