Escambia County is ranked #3 for Florida resident COVID cases per capita for counties with 5,000 or more positive cases – 27.06 per 1,000 population, using July 1, 2019 US Census estimates.

In COVID deaths per capita, Escambia ranks #8  – 3.77 per 10,000 people.

    Janice Gilley, Doug Underhill, Jeff Bergosh, Robert Bender, & Steven Barry, you all have done a fantastic job at doing absolutely NOTHING to help slow the spread to save lives, & businesses. This group of County officials will go down in history as the group of “leaders” that were grossly negligent during the pandemic. Because all of you chose partisan politics/tourism over lives! Yet the 2 of you that are up for re-election will win, due to the simple fact that we lack solid choices. Therefore, you’ll all continue to mooch off the tax payers while doing nothing to help us!
