FDEP hosts meeting re: Bayou Chico, Dec 11

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) will host a “Maps on the Table” meeting regarding Bayou Chico on Thursday, December 11, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Escambia County Central Office Complex, 3363 West Park Place.

This meeting is the next step in the implementation of the Basin Management Action Plan (BMAP) for the bayou. Its purpose is to bring together key stakeholders from the community and government to discuss the location of potential sources of fecal bacteria and nutrients within the Bayou Chico watershed.
