FDLE chemist arrested

Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Investigators, in conjunction with the State Attorney’s Office, obtained warrants for the arrest of former FDLE lab chemist Joseph Graves.
 
 Graves is charged with one (1) count of Grand Theft of a Controlled Substance, twelve (12) counts of Tampering With or Fabricating Physical Evidence, and nine (9) counts of Trafficking in Illegal Drugs. Graves was arrested and booked in to the Escambia County Jail on a bond of $290,000.
 
 The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
