Four Wahoos named to Southern League Top 20 Prospects by Baseball America

Baseball America has released its listing of the Southern League’s Top 20 Prospects and among those named are four Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

Base stealing phenom Billy Hamilton, is the 5th overall prospect and non-pitcher listed. He was also one of six shortstops to make the list. Hamilton surpassed Vince Coleman’s record of 145 stolen bases. Hamilton finished the 2012 season with 155 thefts.

Pitcher Tony Cingrani is #11, Shortstop Didi Gregorius #15 and Pitcher Daniel Corcino is listed #17.
