FWB violated Sunshine Law

Daily News reports that Fort Walton Beach city staff is scrambling to develop a plan to reduce the city’s exposure to lawsuits stemming from dozens of closed committee meetings should have been open to the public.

Fort Walton Beach attorney Toni Craig has determined the city violated Florida’s Government-in-the-Sunshine Law for the past seven years by preventing the public from attending the Development Review Committee meetings.
