Gannett has sold four Panhandle publications – correction

Gannett has 26 newspapers across its media empire to local groups, including four in Northwest Florida.

The Pensacola News Journal was not one of the quartet. The four publications are in more rural areas: The Port St. Joe Star, Apalachicola The Times, Washington County News and Holmes County Times Advertiser.
