We presented our 7ft “Ribbon of Hope” for staff, passengers and guests to sign in support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign! Our Senior Administrative Officer, Bonnie Bell, was the first to sign in honor of her sister, Alice, who is a Breast Cancer survivor. The “Ribbon of Hope” will be on display throughout October, near the USO Northwest Florida Information Desk, located on Level 2. Special thanks to our friends at Hi-Impact Designs for making our vision come to life.
Also, our ribbons have arrived from THE PINK RIBBON SHOP and we are excited to show our support by wearing and handing out pink satin ribbons throughout October. Pick one up at the USO Northwest Florida Information Desk located on Level 2.
Cemetery manual turned over to City
Margo Stringfield, with University of West Florida’s Pensacola Archeology Institute, on behalf of the Pensacola Area Cemetery Team ( PACT) turned over their comprehensive historic cemetery manual to the City. PACT was organized in late 2013, after the mayor’s office saw a need for the city’s historic cemeteries to be maintained.
