GPS Hospitality hiring

Press Release: GPS Hospitality, a fast-growing BURGER KING®, POPEYES® Louisiana Kitchen and Pizza Hut franchisee, will host its annual job fair on Thursday, Sept. 12 with a goal of securing 2,500 new hires in one day – the company’s largest job fair to date. The nationwide fair will take place at all GPS restaurants throughout 13 states with openings for 2,000 team members, including 250 Pizza Hut drivers, and 500 managers to join the team immediately.

Thirteen GPS Hospitality restaurants will be participating in Florida.

Hiring managers will be on-site to meet with potential applicants and to conduct interviews from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary, and qualified applicants may be hired on-the-spot. The 2018 BURGER KING Global Franchisee of the Year winner, GPS Hospitality is known for its Goal Focused, People Oriented and Service Obsessed culture. Recently, the company rolled out a new employee engagement initiative called “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” via a partnership with Instant Pay. The free program offers BURGER KING and POPEYES employees the opportunity to receive up to 50% of their pay the next day.

“The annual job fair gives us the opportunity to open our doors nationwide and find future GPS leaders in our communities,” said GPS Hospitality CEO Tom Garrett. “Our management teams will be in-restaurant connecting with applicants individually to find motivated team members who share our guest-forward values.”

Earlier in 2019, GPS added 75 Pizza Hut restaurants to its portfolio for a total of 486 restaurants. GPS Hospitality provides each employee with training, flexible hours and personal growth opportunities. Management-level positions are also eligible to receive performance-driven monetary bonuses, and other benefits and awards within GPS.

“Our team members are the face of GPS to our guests and we cannot be successful without the right people serving our guests every day,” said GPS’ Vice President of Human Resources Vickie Volan. “We’ve been working with our management teams to find incentives to help attract and retain talented team members, including successfully rolling out a real-time salary program. That, along with other company-wide benefits such as paid vacation, bonus opportunities and additional rewards showcase the importance of ‘people’ within GPS’ core values.”
