Newt Gingrich did well, Romney not so much. Perry is lost his mojo entirely, looks like Will Ferrell playing GW. The Daily Beast grades the performance of all the candidates:
Gingrich: A He was ready from the attacks of Romney and the also-rans.
Romney: B+ Spoke from the heart, which worked most of the time.
Michelle Bachmann: B Best part was calling the two above “Newt Romney.â€
Rick Santorum: B- Gets higher grade for just not sounding nearly as needy as he has in the past.
Rick Perry: C+ This was by far Rick Perry’s best debate appearance, but still only graded a high C…which he would have loved to have gotten in college.
Ron Paul: C Needs more vitamins. Has trouble keeping up.
