Gulf Breeze Rotary Gumbo Cook-Off on Saturday, March 11 [podcast]

The Gulf Breeze Rotary Club holds its 12th Annual Gulf Breeze Rotary Gumbo Cook-Off on Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center, 800 Shoreline Dr, Gulf Breeze.

Tickets: $15 at the event. $10 in advance at:​​
Children 10 and under free.

Activities:
All you can eat Gumbo samples from more than 20 professional and amateur cooking teams’
Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Sodas,
Beer (Bud Light & Shock Top), and Wine (Red & White) are available.

Silent auction. Winners announced at 3 pm. Items include: Overnight stays and get-a-ways, gift baskets, sports equipment, gift certificates, services, and art.
Music by local blues band Blue Levee (lead is Noah DeSimone, a recipient of Rotary scholarship two years ago)

Why: Raise funds for Gulf Breeze Rotary’s college scholarship fund. The club has awarded more than $650,000 to deserving Gulf Breeze students over the past two decades.
