Pensacola Mayor Ashton Hayward will continue his popular series of “Taking City Hall to the Citizens†town hall meetings with a meeting in District 2 tonight. The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM at the Lucia M. Tryon Branch Library, located at 1200 Langley Avenue.
Mayor Hayward and members of City staff will be on hand to address citizen comments, questions, and concerns. Anyone may attend, but the questions and discussion at this meeting will focus on the issues in the neighborhoods of City Council District 2. City Councilwoman Sherri Myers will also be present at the meeting.
“Taking City Hall to the Citizens†town hall meetings are an ongoing part of Mayor Hayward’s pledge to promote a “citizens first†culture at City Hall. Tonight’s meeting will be the 18th town hall meeting Mayor Hayward has held since taking office in January 2011.
