Mayor Ashton Hayward sent yesterday a memo to the Pensacola City Council regarding the FY 2012 Budget. He has directed City Staff to take under advisement only those amendments to the budget that have the majority consensus of the council. Any amendments must keep the budget balanced.
He has directed staff to accommodate all reasonable information requests. Any inquiry sheets should be sent to Finance Director Dick Barker by the close of business Monday, August 22 to give the staff time to compile data for the Thursday workshop.
