How does Early Voting breakdown by district

From Escambia County Supervisor of Elections office, here are the early votes by district. If the intent of reducing the days for early voting was to stifle the African-American vote, it looks like the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature was successful. District 3 is a primarily an African-American district (54 percent of the voters are African-American) and only 725 voters in the district used early voting. We will get the full demographic breakdown after tomorrow’s vote.

DIST 1 – 990
DIST 2 – 1,153
DIST 3 – 725
DIST 4 – 2,243
DIST 5 – 1,574
