The Escambia County Animal Shelter is hosting a public animal adoption event, “Just One Day,†today from 12 to 4 p.m., at the Animal Shelter located at 200 W. Fairfield Drive.
Just One Day is in an effort to assist in the adoption of local animals to loving homes by offering reduced adoption rates.
During the event, the Escambia County Animal Shelter will host a food drive for cats and dogs of all ages. Monetary donations are also accepted.
One or more Escambia County Commissioners may be in attendance.
