Kindergarten readiness by school

Only 11 of Escambia County’s 35 elementary schools had more than half of their kindergarteners ready for school. Thirteen schools had less than a third ready.

This doesn’t bode well for the future of Escambia County. It’s going to take more than dashboards.

  1. Improving kindergarten readiness requires more than the schools. Parents/Guardians are the first teachers.
