From Rebekah Bydlak campaign:
Today, Rebekah Bydlak announced the endorsement of Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford. She is running for the open seat in House District 1, currently held by Representative Clay Ingram, who is term-limited and has previously endorsed Bydlak.
“I’m proud to endorse Rebekah Bydlak for State Representative,” said Lunsford. “Rebekah is a true conservative who fully supports the second amendment and our Christian values. As Executive Director of the Coalition to Reduce Spending, Rebekah has worked tirelessly to promote conservative values and control government spending throughout the country. Her years of experience and leadership make her the ideal candidate to represent Northwest Florida in Tallahassee.”
Bydlak said upon the announcement: “From his life of service to saving taxpayer money in his first days holding public office, Scott exemplifies an effective public servant. I’m honored to receive his endorsement and look forward to working with him to serve the citizens of Escambia County.”
