An affluent and growing population, combined with a strong seasonal and tourist influx, drew Neiman Marcus to consider opening a store in Sarasota — despite its presence in Tampa.
To paraphrase Pappy O. Daniel’s campaign managers in “O’ Brother Where Art Thou” – “We’s got to get us some of that affluent and growing population.”
