State Attorney Bill Eddins announced today that Dr. Scott Luzi has withdrawn his name for consideration as Chief Medical Examiner for the First District of Florida. At this time there are no other applicants for this position.
There will be a meeting of the Search Committee on September 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the Multimedia Room of the M.C. Blanchard Judicial Building located in Pensacola. At that time this development will be discussed and plans will be made as to how to move forward.
