Mair named West Florida Healthcare VP

West Florida Healthcare has announced the appointment of Kevin B. Mair, MBA, FACHE, CMPE to the position of Vice President of Cardiovascular Services. In his new role, Mair will oversee all functions of the hospital’s full continuum of cardiovascular services. In addition, Mair will be a key member of the hospital’s leadership team and help in providing direction for patient satisfaction and quality initiatives.

Mair earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and his Master’s in Business Administration from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mair is also a certified executive member of the Medical Group Management Association and American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Mair was most recently employed at Cardiology Consultants in Pensacola where he has served as the group’s Executive Director since 2014.  While there, he was responsible for the group’s overall strategic direction, clinical quality standards, operational leadership, personnel management, fiscal management and growth.  He has an expansive background in physician practice operations and development, the last four of which have been in the field of cardiovascular services.  Prior to joining Cardiovascular Consultants, Mair worked for WellStar Health System in Georgia where he directed the operations of a variety of physician specialty practices.

Mair is involved in local volunteer activities with Five Flags Rotary Club, Sigma Pi Phi, and as a School Mentor for the Escambia County School District.
