Mayor D.C. Reeves announced at his Tuesday presser that the city has hired Jack Zoesch of Beggs & Lane to handle motions made by Jonathan Green regarding the Malcolm Yonge Gym.
The mayor said, “We’ve engaged counsel to handle that situation. It’s not prudent for us to; I’m not going to discuss the merits of that, nor am I qualified to do so.”
Since the original request for an emergency temporary restraining order:
- Green has added the demolition contract. Jobe’s Dirt Works. Filed Amended TRO 2.18.24
- He has filed a notice asserting the executed contract is improper because the City of Pensacola should be the executor, not the community Redevelopment Agency. Improper K 2.18.24.
- Early this morning, Green filed a notice asserting the city did not comply with the recommendations made in the limited structural assessment. FILED – Emergency Notice Supplemental TRO of a Noncompliance with the Limited Structural Assessment 2.20.24
