McCain campaign strategy or is it a tactic?

McCain campaign is now saying Obama is unfit to be president and nominate U.S. Supreme Court judges because of his past associations – some aren’t as close as the GOP insist – to Antoin Rezko, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah A. Wright. The ads are running in Ohio, Michigan and nationally on FoxNews.

Are those associations just part of Obama’s maverick past?
