Messages in sand

CNNiReport wants to hear from locals living along the Gulf Coast about their feelings on the Deepwater Horizon disaster a year later. The CNN challenge is simple: Head out to the beach, write a message in the sand that sums up your feelings one year later, take a digital photo of it and upload the photo to CNN.

The deadline to upload photos of your sand messages is Sunday, April 17. The best submissions may be part of CNN’s coverage of the oil spill anniversary. Read more.
