I visited Duwayne this morning. He was sitting up, alert, laughing and ready to get going again.
Except for the bandages around his head, you would not know that he had been through an eight-hour surgery yesterday. His eyesight, hearing and speech are fine. Amazing!
It’s still early in his recovery. We will need to know what the lab says about the tumor. Then he will start radiation and chemo.
