Money can’t buy you a seat

The GOP-backed Charles Glover couldn’t buy the Escambia County School Board District 3 seat. Nearly every person who voted in the 2004 general election in that district got a phone call and mailer from Glover in the days before the vote. Glover had bought tons of air time on WRNE.
