More details on Morris kick-back scandal


Daily News reports: Attorneys for Michael Coup, Sandra Norris and David Yacks, Okaloosa County deputies and officials accused in bonus kickback scheme concocted by jailed former Sheriff Charlie Morris, will be asking a jury why those clients were selected for prosecution on racketeering charges when 12 others who took bonuses and returned money to Morris were not.

Coup was the chief deputy under Morris, Norris the finance director and Yacks an assistant supervisor of information technology.
