Morgan endorses Hill for House District 2 seat

Press Release: Escambia County Sheriff David Morgan has endorsed conservative Republican Mike Hill for state Representative in the District 2 Special Election.

“I’m proud to stand with Mike Hill and urge fellow Republicans to support him as our next state Representative,” Sheriff Morgan said. “Mike has the genuine conservative values that we need in Tallahassee and the courage to stand up to the special interests and insiders. We need Mike Hill in the Florida House.”

“I’m honored to have the support for Sheriff Morgan, a fellow veteran and tremendous conservative leader in our community,” said Hill. “Sheriff Morgan exemplifies the service mentality that we need in our elected leaders and the mentality I will take to work every day as a state Representative.”

Sheriff Morgan received the highest percentage of votes of any Republican candidate on the ballot in Escambia County during the 2012 Republican primary and received the most votes in all of Escambia County during the 2012 General election.

Mike Hill is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and served 10-years on active duty in the Air Force. Mike is not a politician, having spent the last 20-years in the private sector with State Farm Insurance. Mike is a proud husband and father of 3 children, President of the Northwest Florida Tea Party, serves on numerous community boards and is a member of NFIB’s Executive Council.
