N.B. Cook has problem with black and disabled students

The sentence from Principal Patti Thomas: “At our school two subgroups, Black students and students with Disabilities did not make the AYP target.” Read N.B.Cook Letter.

Here is the sample letter used in North Dakota – no mention of race, economic status or disabilities: ND letter.

And here is a letter used in Phoenix, AZ. It doesn’t single out black, poor or disabled students but does mention the AYP is broken up into these subgroups in a much less divisive way: Phoenix AZ letter.
